Get rid of food and moisture
As already mentioned, food and water attract roaches! Before going to bed, clean the room of all crumbs, leftover food and mugs. If you bring a glass of water to your bed, put it in a bottle that crows will not hold.
Cleaning your room
Roaches make the use of dirty clothes or the clutter as their hiding places. They even ate paper, cardboard, cloth, and anything that contained starch. Therefore, you should keep your room as much clean and tidy on possible basis.
Seal all the doors and windows
Another major way is to seal all the windows and doors of your house. Filling holes and cracks and closing doors and windows will help prevent cracks.
Placing a leeward bar or under a door to cover the openings under your door is also an effective way to get nooks into your room.
Dispose of garbage
